We delighted in the beautiful flowers at the Botanical Garden in Edmundston, New Brunswick.
They had bird houses that were just our size for playing in:
Montmorency Falls, Québec City was awesome! This thunderous waterfall can even be viewed from the freeway!
We had a ball getting "into" the works of Van Gogh when we visited the "Imagine Van Gogh: Immersive Experience" in Trois-Rivières:
We got a kick out of the Canadian Railway Museum in Québec. We played like engineers:
Look at how big this train engine is!
We visited another garden because we love gardens and the weather has been perfect for being outside. The Montréal Botanical Garden has an enchanting Chinese Garden:
One of our favorite places was the Museum of Illusions Montréal. We really got a charge out of the mirrors and kaleidoscope!
We ended our eastern Canadian journey in Ottawa, the Capital of Canada. We had to checkout Parliament Hill so we took advantage of an immersive experience that allowed us to get up close and personal with the Parliament buildings.
Here we are in Confederation Hall:
To please our person (a retired librarian) we also "checked-out" the Parliament Library:
The real Parliament buildings are currently being renovated so this experience gave us an idea of what to expect after the renovations are completed.
We loved the people in Eastern Canada! They are so kind, thoughtful and proud of their cultural heritage. We hope our person will bring us to Canada again!
