The Garden Isle:
We're staying in the town of Kapa'a, which is on Kauai's Coconut Coast. Driving around the island has provided us with many beautiful scenic views!

We drove to Waimea State Park and were rewarded with this view of Waimea Canyon!
At our last lookout on the in the state park we had this beautiful view of the Nā Pali Coast!
Maui had lots of chickens but Kauai has even more! Here's a beautiful rooster that was hanging around at our lunch stop.
Another way to see this gorgeous island is from above. So we took a helicopter tour! 🚁
We saw Manawaiopuna Falls, also known as Jurassic Park Falls as it was featured in the 1993 movie Jurassic Park.
We had the opportunity to land on private property overlooking the Olokele Canyon:
We then flew through Waimea Canyon which is often referred to as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.
We even flew up close to this waterfall!

Our flight wasn't complete until we flew along the Nā Pali Coast!
Wendy said she needed a drink before going up in the helicopter. Check out her pineapple straw!
