We visited Hopewell Rocks twice one day to see the effects of the tidal changes.

On the other side of the Bay, we visited Burntcoat Head Park. We were there at low tide. One could actually walk to the little island!
At high tide the water comes up to the bottom of the stairs.
Imagine if you had a boat docked in a marina. This marina at Halls Harbour illustrates a different perspective of these tidal changes that occur 4 times a day!
