We're so sad to be leaving Rome! We've really enjoyed our visit here, especially the food: pizza, tiramisu and Gelato.
Lots and lots of Gelato!
Did you know that the best Gelato is not the real fluffy stuff? Also, the best Gelaterias are those that offer fewer flavors. We've tried bunches so we're now experts! ☺️
We enjoyed the sightseeing, too. Of course we tossed our coins into Trevi Fountain.
Our person gave us pennies so we're not sure if that is enough to insure a return trip to Rome.
We climbed to the top of Castel Sant'Angelo for this great view of the Vatican!
And we saw lots of Roman ruins, too! Here we are outside of the Colosseum.
We were a bit afraid to go inside because they might think we were exotic animals to be hunted for entertainment.
The Colosseum was a great way to end our adventures in Rome. We're heading back to the States for a roadtrip to Eastern Canada.
