Texas – Spring has Sprung + Brazos Bend State Park:

Texas is BEAUTIFUL in the springtime!

Driving the highways and country roads in Central Texas provides a blooming show!  The bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas and Texans look forward to getting out in the Spring to take tons of bluebonnet and wildflower pictures.  Here are a few of mine:

March is a great time to see the Azaleas in bloom.  My favorite places to photograph azaleas in Houston are at Rice University and the Museum District.

Here are more beautiful spring blooms:

Just 45 miles southwest of Houston is a wonderful state park.  Brazos Bend State Park gets its name from the Brazos River which runs along the park.  The park offers lots of photo opportunities, especially of wildlife.  Check out some of my favorite pics:

Along with Spring, the COVID-19 virus has arrived.
Because of this, we have had to cancel all of our plans for our upcoming European adventure. Consequently, I will not be posting to my blog for the rest of 2020.

Please check back in January 2021 for further updates.

Dearest family, friends, neighbors and others who have followed our adventures – please take care and stay healthy.
