SEVILLA:
Our first stop was the Plaza de España which was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929.

We were in Seville during the 2024 Seville Fair! It's a lively time! And how fun it was to see the ladies dressed for the Fair:
We had a tour of an active bullring, Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla:

And we saw some exciting Flamenco!
CÓRDOBA:
On our last day of our Spanish tour we visited the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. This mosque-turned-cathedral spans 8 centuries of history!

The original mosque minaret is now encased in a squared, tapered bell tower.

We really enjoyed our bus tour. Although it went quickly it provided us with a wonderful sample of the different regions of Spain. One could easily spend a week in each of the cities we visited. Another good reason to take such a tour is the opportunity to meet fellow travelers. We made so many new friends!
Now it's time to slow down a little.
Next we head to Portugal on our own. Hasta luego....
