Wendy & Penelope: A bear's point of view

We're in New York City now. Our person is busy visiting with family so we're posting to the BLOG.

We're really not Party Animals but we do enjoy acting silly!

Here we are at the All Things Oz Museum in Chittenango, NY. Dorothy may have magical ruby slippers but we can fly to the Emerald City!

While our persons were out wine tasting in the Finger Lakes area of New York, we were amusing ourselves at the Airbnb:

We starred in the Vitameatavegamin commercial at the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum in Jamestown, NY:

Our FAVORITE place is the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY!

We were so good at the museum and didn't break anything, so our persons bought us ice cream! 😋

Woodstock, NY is a pretty cool place. We especially loved the hamlet of Bearsville where there were events going on for the Woodstock Film Festival. We thought we would hang out at the Bear Café to see if we could "get discovered". Of course, we're almost famous now for our insightful blog posts!

We did meet a celebrity! Yogi Bear even treated us to a root beer float!

While in Lake Placid we learned a lot about the Winter Olympics at the Lake Placid Olympic Museum. We learned about Olympic mascots and when I (Penelope) saw this pin of Bing Dwen Dwen ("Bing"), I was inspired! Maybe I could become a mascot!

Did you know that the city of Montpelier, Vermont is the smallest state capital with the smallest capitol building in America? It's so small that we actually look larger than we are!

Hee hee! This one is just a replica!

We met a new friend in Montpelier. Too bad "Monti" couldn't join us on our adventures.

One thing we don't understand about the eastern states is why they close their ice cream shops in October. Even this Dairy Queen is closed for the season!

This is a sad, sad season. It's the winter of our discontent! ☹️
