We visited Yellowstone National Park twice, the first time on our
Caravan bus trip. The following pictures
depict a beautiful park in Spring/Summer.

One of the main advantages for taking the bus trip is that we get to
stay in lodges within the national
parks. In Yellowstone, we stayed
at the Old Faithful Inn. So we were able
to enjoy the Old Faithful geyser eruptions easily, from our rooftop patio!
These thermal features are a short walk from the Old Faithful Inn, next
to the Firehole River:
Yellowstone Lake is a beautiful blue! I love how the clouds reflect in the water.
Yellowstone has its own "Grand Canyon" with beautiful waterfalls:

Isa Lake is at the Continental Divide. On one side the lake runs toward the Pacific and on the other side, toward the east! Here is a shot of the lake taken on our bus trip:
We visited Yellowstone again, 2 days after we were there on the bus
trip. This time we drove into a Winter
Wonderland!
Here we are again at the Continental Divide:
Look at Isa Lake now!
One of the most beautiful drives we took was through the Lamar Valley:
We saw a few animals on our bus trip; however, when we returned on our
own we saw even more! Besides bison
(especially along the road), we also saw black bear, pronghorn sheep and
osprey:

Next week I’ll continue with our Wyoming discoveries!
