Wendy's and Penelope's Big Adventure

Wendy’s and Penelope’s Big Adventure
We are two bears being driven around on an epic road trip.

We have now traveled a total of 21,000 miles!

Those of you who know us, know that we are the true planners for this trip.

This view of the Davis Mountains from our room at Indian Lodge is worth the time we spent planning the trip!

We have fun meeting others, too.  Here’s our new friend, an alpaca – he’s soft just like us!

Here are a couple of other friends we met:

Not sure of his name, but we love his style!

We spent lots of time in the desert, these plants are NOT soft!

But this one has a cool name:

We do most of the work, too!  Here we are helping our human to pack:

After we finish our chores, we get to rest on really soft beds at different Airbnbs.  This one was obviously our kind of place – she liked bears, too!

We loved White Sands National Monument.  Here we are planning where to have our picnic lunch.

Let’s go for a spin on the sand!  Wheeeee!

This was definitely a beautiful place.

Look at this funny shadow of our human on the white sands!  😊

We drove a long time in the desert…

It was so warm, that we had to roll the window down!

I even had to wear a hat to protect my fair fur!

We finally made it to California!

Aren’t I cute sitting on this pelican?

California is a beary friendly state.  Did you know that they have a bear on their state flag?  Also, they even have a valley for bears – we want to move here!

There are all kinds of bears here:

We went on the Jelly Belly Factory Tour, too – we even got a hat!

Did we say how much we liked California?  It gets cool here at night, so we love to sit in front of the fireplace:

The redwood trees are gigantic!  Look how small we are compared to this tree trunk:

We’re headed to Oregon next.  Just like this bear, we
