New York (pt. 2), New Jersey

New York City:

We had a wonderful and relaxing visit with my aunt and uncle in New York City.  Plus we had the chance to meet up with a friend who previously lived in Houston and is now the Librarian at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art.  We toured his library and enjoyed a lovely visit over lunch at the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station!

After lunch, we visited the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and saw a terrific exhibition of Constantin Brancusi:
"Blond Negress II"

And, of course, we had to visit the MoMA sculpture garden:

Here are just a few photos of iconic NYC sites we saw as we walked around the city:

Rockefeller Center winter skating rink
Rockefeller Plaza autumn decorations

Broadway -- see the wicked witch's green hand!
Washington Square Arch - Greenwich Village

New Jersey:  Atlantic City & Cape May

We always wondered what Atlantic City would be like and decided to drive down to walk along the Boardwalk.  The views of the beach and water were stunning:

We especially loved Cape May.  Not only was the water and beach gorgeous, but the town was quaint and the people were very friendly.
